Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the GroomSync software-as-a-service application and website (the "Service"), operated by Daniel Hayes ("we", "us", "our"), trading as GroomSync. By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use GroomSync

You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise able to form a binding contract, and — if signing up on behalf of a business — you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

2. The Service

GroomSync is an online scheduling and business-management tool for dog groomers, including a calendar, client and pet records, service menu, online booking page and reporting features. Available features may change over time as the Service evolves.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
• send spam, fraudulent messages or content that infringes anyone's intellectual property;
• upload malware, probe or scan the Service, or scrape it in an automated way;
• attempt to interfere with, disrupt or circumvent the Service's security or technical limits;
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service.

5. Payment and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance in Australian dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund details.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, design, documentation and branding, remains our property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your plan.

You retain ownership of the data you upload (clients, pets, appointments, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to host and process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination we may delete your account data after a reasonable export window.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including under the Australian Consumer Law).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts of Australia.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email.
